I know that there are a lot of reality singing and music shows out there right now, and I have to admit that I watch a couple of them, but American Idol is practically an original in the category.  That means you have to show a little love for the show and tune in.

Last year there were even more changes with the judges and the new panel was made up of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler.  At first people were unsure if the show could survive such a drastic change, but it seems like the change was not as difficult for viewers as it was expected to be.

This year all three judges are back along with Ryan Seacrest to find the America Idol.  Take a look back to last year when American Idol was starting to ramp up.

I soon noticed that other people like me have spotted Macs in movies, going back a very long way in many instances.  Macs have always had a sort of “elite” connotation.  Having them featured in films and used by “the good guys” sends a subliminal message that is loud and clear to those of us already in the Apple camp.  Here is a great infographic I found today while researching this phenomenon.  It points out several Mac sightings from famous movies, even as far back as the 80s!

In the meantime, let’s examine this infographic.  It attempts to show some of the differences in Redbox and Netflix, especially the  advantages and disadvantages of each.  The main feature of Netflix right now that impresses us is the low price with unlimited streaming on multiple registered devices.  Keep an open mind, and check this out.  Hopefully it will help you make a money-saving decision about your entertainment choices.

Whether or not they are done with the show, I still get to enjoy season 5 of the crazy and drama filled show that starts January 5th on MTV.  From what I’ve gathered we can expect to see some new sides to housemates on top of the already dramatic antics.

Plenty of drama is good enough for me, and if this does happen to be the last season of Jersey Shore for good or just with this cast, I think I will be ready to let go and move on too.  At least I hope so.  If you are as pumped about the season premier as I am, take a look at the trailer!

The group is made up of five people, and they create a sound so big that you will not believe.  There voices a big and beautiful, and the percussion and bass…I have no words to describe their awesome sounds.  So, if you are looking for some serious entertainment tonight, tune in to The Sing Off and watch the Pentatonix.

“Tosh.O” – This show is a thirty minute show hosted by the comedian Daniel Tosh.  Basically he stands in front of a green screen, shows crazy, funny, and absolutely insane video clips and makes jokes about them.  His humor can be a little gross and disturbing, but the Web Redemption segment is my favorite.  Tosh finds a clip where someone royally screws something up, and invites the person or group back to redeem themselves.

“Ridiculousness” – Rob Dyrdek is back to bring the laughs on this show.  It has the same concept as “Tosh.O,” with a green screen and video clips.  You can be sure that these clips are not going to be as disturbing as some of those on “Tosh.O” though.  Dyrdek also has a group of people giving their two cents on the videos too.

Both of the shows are hilarious, and they are like “America’s Funniest Home Videos” for grown ups.  I love it.  I wonder what will be on the shows this week…there is this video of a kid with bulk spice that I have heard about, and I hope I see it on one of the shows soon.

The animated show South Park follows four boys, Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick.  They are all voiced by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creator of the show.  Along with the boys are their families and the people of the town in Colorado where they live.

The show was such a hit that Comedy Central went from being in 9.1 million homes in 1997 to being in 50 million homes one year later.  The show has such a fast turnaround time that you will likely find that the topics are less than a week old in new shows.

If you love yourself some fist pumping guidos and Jersey Turnpiking guidettes, then you probably love their hairstyles too.  I am not even going to question how you could like things like that because I occasionally find myself having serious hair envy when it comes to the dos of the Jersey Shore.  I mean who does not want to long super highlighted locks of JWoww or the high heights of the Snooki bump?  For the guys, you know you have been dying to try that blow out courtesy of Pauly D.  Or maybe the blow out isn’t your thing and you are looking for a tight fade like Vinny.   Well, if you are ready to give it a shot, then I have just the thing for you to see.

Let me introduce you to the Jersey Shore hair infographic.  Thanks to this unique graphic, you can find out what products they are using at the Shore so you can use them too.  Currently I am rocking a serious Snooki bump and I won’t deny it, I am loving it.  So, put on your T-Shirt, head to the gym, and find your perfect Jersey Shore look.  After you get your look down, the next thing you know you’ll hear, “CABS HERE!”

In just a few days, on August 4, the loved and hated television show, Jersey Shore will be back!  We here at Mangaka are fist pumping with excitement, and if you are a guido and guidette lover then you are too.  Everyone knows that Jersey Shore isn’t just any television show, but it’s one that let’s us in on the lifestyle of “Italian” young people who are “picked to live in a house, work together and have their lives taped…” Okay so it does seem like a Real World spin off, but for some reason these orange and buff partiers are welcomed into my living room every Thursday night, and I cannot get enough!  Because of my amped excitement for this television show, I’m giving you a countdown Jersey Shore Style.  Each of the days of the countdown feature some words that are well-known on the shore, and this season we’ll be hearing them in Italy too. One week, my friends, one week!

7 Fist Pumps.  In the clubs when there’s a guido, you’re surely going to see the fist pump.  It’s a highly contagious dance move where you literally clench your fist and pump it to the beat of the music.  Watching the fist pump go down in some Italian discos is going to be quite hilarious.  Even the MTV promo for season 4 has the crew fist pumping and partying to “Figaro.”  Nice!

6 Grenades.  There will be grenades this season, no doubt.  The question is not if we’ll see some, the question is how many we will see and who will get the grenade duty for the night.  Grenades, for the newbies of the television show, are unattractive females typically with a slightly prettier friend.  Unfortunately there have been cases where one guy has to take care of the grenade to get his friend some action with the pretty chick.  Aw, that’s true friendship right there.

5 GTLs.  From what I understand the act of GTL proved to be a bit more difficult over in Italy for the cast.  Gym, Tan, Laundry is what the acronym stands for.  Apparently to get their tan on, they were required to make appointments.  According to Ronnie, “It’s not a doctor, it’s a tan.”  Poor babies.  In the US, we understand how difficult it is to get that oompa loompa glow and keep it.

4 Gorillas.  HOLY GORILLA JUICE HEAD, BATMAN!  I must admit, Snooki is right about gorillas, beefed up muscly men are just plain hot!  Add in that serious tan and perfectly coiffed hair, and we’ve got ourselves a winner indeed.   It seems that they had a difficult finding juiced up men in Italy, as Snooki claimed, “They were skinny!”

3 Beat up the Beats.  Does this need any explanation? If there is one thing that the whole television show cast is good at, it’s beating up the beats.  Music blasting, fists pumping, and a helluva good time!

2 Fried Pickles.  More love to Snooki here, I have to agree with her that fried pickles are “life changing.”

1 Premiere of Jersey Shore Season 4.  In just seven days we will go on another journey with the cast that we have grown to love.  If you have never tuned into the Jersey Shore television show, I highly recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a good time!

Footage shows Mike “The Situation” leaning in for an almost romantic kiss with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. The two were out watching the stars together and after the kiss took place Mike and Snooki snuggled up on the hammock to toast drinks and enjoy the night and each other’s company. After a while, the two had company from Deena Cortese, one of the “meatballs,” and they enjoyed some more cold beverages.

For the upcoming fourth season, there is sure to be some drama as always, but this time around the guys are the ones getting into most of the trouble. In an interview, Pauly D even said that the group is quite used to the girls starting chaos, but this time around the boys are getting into some serious drama. Maybe even as much as Miami. Pauly D even took some time to talk about the rumors surrounding replacing the Jersey Shore cast members for less expensive replacements. As for him, he does not think that the stories are remotely true. Pauly D thinks that the whole crew is irreplaceable due to their lovable and very unique personalities.

The reports on finding a new cast have been denied by MTV network, and for the fifth season, they just might receive a boost in their pay. It was recently revealed that the cast was asking for more money per episode, which is really nothing new seeing as this usually takes place right before each season. Right now it is estimated that the whole rowdy Jersey crew gets paid around $100,000 an episode. Sounds like a good living for simply acting up and making a fool of yourself.
